LUXURY FASHION STILL LIFE COLLABORATOR:
Assisting / styling / second shooting
I started assisting my father Marco Cardelli as a teenager, shooting on large-format film that we loaded in the dark, and using black/white Polaroids to test the image’s exposure. Even before then, I was the only one he trusted in choosing his portfolio images because of my ruthlessly impeccable taste.
Throughout the years, we collaborated on countless campaigns for Italian luxury houses, such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Furla, Lorenz, Pucci, Marco Bicego, among others.
In my early 20s, I studied Photography at the London College of Communication right on the cusp of the digital shift, learning color printing, film development, and the first waves of digital before it took the world by storm. The result: I own more medium-format cameras than one should be allowed to, and I am fluent in Photoshop and Lightroom.
In the following decade, I worked with several up-and-coming fashion and luxury brands as a photographer, and have collaborated as a designer and producer on multi-million dollar interior projects while living in Los Angeles.
The further work I did as an operations manager now gives me the ease of running simple to complex projects smoothly, while the experience in the coaching and leadership development industry serves as the background for clear communication and effective interactions with multi-disciplinary teams.
My complex mind pushes me to often find alternative, creative ways to do things - ending up with results that are both more efficient and fun.
In my personal and professional projects I never stop creating, using whichever medium I am inspired by at the moment, whether it is photography, video, design, music, dance, or life itself.
I have lived across three continents and I am an Italian and US citizen with residence privileges in Mexico. I speak English, Italian, Spanish, French, and a little Portuguese.
If I don’t know something I need or want, I will.
